As our Head of Collateral Treasury, Americas you will:
- Manage the funding and liquidity requirements of the Markets desks that are in scope in the US. This will involve activity on the HBEU, HSI and HBUS balance sheets
- Build out the unsecured cash projections and management in HSI as well as develop optimisation and stable/efficient funding solutions for HSI
- Cover Client Pricing and Analytics discussions and demands from internal stakeholders and clients in the NY time zone – tracking pricing and financial resource consumption for Prime clients
- Help establish new products and clients in the US to build out the global funding capabilities
- Act as go to person in the US for Markets to ensure the accuracy of the funding and liquidity requirements
- Ensure the collateral requirements across the various demands are met – VM, IM/UMR/CCPs and Funding. This should also consider the most optimal allocation of assets to cover the requirement – i.e. Cheapest to Deliver with the regulatory, financial and supply constraints
- Support Market’s Management, ALCM, FRM and other stakeholders in their understanding of the key drivers of the funding and liquidity within MSS
- Build out the global tools and infrastructure required for CT to fund and manage the liquidity and funding in an effective manner – trading and analytical tools such as Cyclops. This also involves developing a consistent approach and architecture where possible across CT and the various asset classes
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the product area including but not limited to market liquidity and volatility, pricing and trading strategies
- Develop close and effective working relationships within respective Regions/Countries/Functions/Global Businesses
For this role, HSBC targets a pay of $250,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
