. Job Summary
Barings is seeking an Managing Director to focus on securing financing needs for Barings teams globally across Asset Level and fund level financings
Primary Responsibilities
- Run tender processes for fund/SMA finance facilities with Barings’ banking relationships
- Structure facilities across BDC complex, Sub Lines, Liquidity lines and fund NAV/ABL’s and other portfolio company capital structures and all required FX swap lines.
- Manage the process to completion with key internal stakeholders and operations team
- Review existing facilities and plan ahead for refinancing, amend & extends and renewals
- Review existing facilities and harmonize all the data to present in a uniformed presentation
- Collate all information for Barings’ annual scorecard review and present the data to Barings’ key counterparties
- Manage financing relationships and seek updated market terms outside of tender processes.
- Work closely with Barings Portfolio Finance Group to help source bank syndicated NAV facilities.
- Help originate and re-package fund finance assets for Barings Private Placement/ABS businesses.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with a focus on business/finance
- 15 yr years of industry experience
- 10 yr Experience in fund finance, specifically a team leader
- Experience in sales or external client interaction
Salary: $300,000 base
