What to Expect:
The GSE Maintenance Regional Manager will assist in overseeing all Ground Service Equipment (GSE) to include unscheduled repairs, preventative maintenance, and work order documentation of United Ground Express (UGE) stations as assigned. Manage relationships with GSE maintenance service providers and part vendors. Assist GSE management team in conducting station GSE audits and station transitions where applicable.
How you will make an impact:
- Manage GSE inventory as assigned by ensuring all assets are always entered and accounted for in Fleet Focus.
- Approve or Deny station repair requests based on individual circumstance, situations, and management playbook.
- Maintain a professional relationship with equipment suppliers, GSE maintenance providers, GSE vendors, parts suppliers, and logistics companies.
- Provided feedback to station managers and other levels of management on operational, damage, and maintenance issues.
- Monitor status of repairs. If necessary, order parts and supplies and assist in scheduling repairs with outside vendors.
- Provide expert GSE maintenance advice and troubleshooting to vendors over the phone, via email, or in person.
- Receive, review, and enter GSE related invoices in the Fleet Focus system.
- Create weekly and monthly station reports using Fleet Focus that allows for the tracking and monitoring of station budgets, damages, and repairs.
- Assist in periodic and annual GSE inventory audits to ensure accuracy of data.
- Facilitate and assist in minor facilities maintenance issues as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Requires some travel.

Required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word) required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to multi-task required.
- Understanding of work order management and inventory systems preferred
- Technical background (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)
Experience
- Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated understanding of airport operations
- Prior ground services equipment maintenance experience required.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Airport operations or equivalent maintenance work experience required.
ADA Specifications
- Ability to operate a computer to enter and retrieve data
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis.
- Ability to pass all pre-screening clearances applicable to position qualifications.
Compensation Information
Base salary range: $52,000 - $64,480 (L6) annually
