SUMMARY: The Graphics Designer is responsible for designing creative website, print, email, digital ads and events, etc. They should have an eye for compelling conceptual design with outstanding graphic design and project management skills. A portfolio is required for this position. The role reports to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with the rest of the marketing team. $24.00-$31.25 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Concept, design and produce a wide variety of high-quality print and digital marketing materials including but not limited to collateral, POS, print, website content, videos, digital banners and social ads.
  • Organize and maintain a design asset library which serves as a shared resource for the Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Ensure the company's brand identity is consistent across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to produce relevant creative materials to be used for internal and external events, promotions and new product launches.
  • Maintain responsibility for creative asset production schedules.
  • Manage our print vendor relationships and production schedules to ensure timely delivery.

  • 3+ years of graphic/web design experience. Marketing or creative agency experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience working in a start-up a plus.
  • Creativity and focus on quality are essential for all deliverables.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage requirements and schedules across multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively independently.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects – A good multitasker. 
  • Ability to set expectations with a timeline and meet deadlines. 
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required.
  • Experience with video creation/editing software (Adobe Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Screenflow, etc.) a plus.
  • Ability to find practical solutions for complex design problems.
  • Team oriented – experience working with sales, senior management, content owners, and product management.
  • Solid interpersonal skills – good listening skills, a good verbal communicating skills, and the ability to build and sustain productive relationships.
  • Ability to scope and specify project requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge in printing techniques and photography styles.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to managers and sales staff.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to collect and organize data. Ability to use sound judgment and problem- solving skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Attendance is required Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. or within normal business hours as established by the supervisor. Employee may be required to work overtime, and occasional weekends. Once fully trained, this position has the potential to become a hybrid work from home position. The hybrid work schedule will be based upon department needs, quality of work performed, as well as the demands of the unique workload at any given point of the year.

  • Located mostly in an office environment with some exposure to a warehouse environment.
