Seeking Graphic Designers with a true passion and enthusiasm for 2D designs, a creative flair, and a constant striving for innovation.
BrandStar is currently hiring Graphic Designers to create visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.
Graphic Designers combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of websites and printed pages. They may use a variety of design elements to achieve artistic or decorative effects. Working with the Copywriter and guided by the Creative Director, create and/or improve upon our brands' online marketing materials to establish a cohesive, creative look and feel. The Graphic Designer also acts as a steward of our brands, ensuring visual graphic standards are respected and the bar for excellence is constantly being raised.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Design and produce client-facing materials.

• Design social media graphics in collaboration with our team of social media content creators.

• Design webpages, landing pages, print collateral and be responsible for visual execution within the company's branding and style requirements and budget.

• Maintain graphic standards to align with corporate brand guidelines.

• Create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to participants and consumers.

• Communicate with clients, customers, and other designers to ensure that designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information.

• Brainstorm to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to consumers and develop unique designs that convey a recognizable meaning on behalf of their clients.

Experience and Skills

• B.A. or B.S. in graphic design, art or related field or equivalent academic and work experience.
• A minimum of 2+ years design or related field experience required.
• Must have a distinct eye for detail.
• Ability to execute design solutions based on conceptual ideas.
• Strong design talent with superb skills in typography and layout.
• Strong understanding of User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) design standards and best practices.
• Design and development of email marketing platform is a plus.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software and Adobe CS applications (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign) a must.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP a plus.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Must be able to work on multiple projects or designs simultaneously in varying creative stages.
