The Graphic Designer will be self-motivated, detail and deadline oriented, and communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders to translate business needs into compelling visual print, web and video designs that drive results. The Graphic Designer position will report to and work closely with the Creative Marketing Manager to meet department and overall company needs.

Responsibilities:

• Own design projects, from concept to delivery
• Execute print and digital collateral, promotional materials, editable PDF's, social media and email graphics, along with short videos for omni-channel campaigns
• Edit, retouch, color correct, and organize/archive product photography
• Communicate and work closely with outside vendors/agencies
• Prepare files for web and preflight print files for issues
• Setup and use die lines correctly according to vendor specs
• Ensure accuracy of work through proofreading
• Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency of fonts, colors, logos, etc. within all deliverables
• Actively participate in brainstorming design concepts and identify new creative opportunities
• Use project management software to develop, produce and deliver creative on time

Qualifications:

• 3 years of post-education, professional experience in Graphic Design, or related field
• Strong understanding of fundamental typography principals, color theory, and composition to produce visually compelling designs
• Ability to work on multiple platforms and a variety of mediums to produce creative such as print, digital, video, web, on online and offline applications
• Seamless ability to work in both PC and Mac environments
• Experience using Microsoft programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• High level of proficiency in Adobe CC - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom
• Preferred working knowledge of Figma, XD, Premiere and After Effects
• Familiarity with services such as Canva, Shutterstock, Envato Elements or comparable
• Thorough knowledge of file formats, differences, and their proper applications
• Excellent project management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines on a multiple project workload
• Must possess a proactive, problem-solving, attitude with an ability to pivot on demand
• Self-motivated, and can work well within a team environment as well as individually
• Communicate effectively, take direction, and articulate design thought process in clear and concise manner to peers and superiors
• Ability to understand requirements alongside business needs in order to provide design solutions, and incorporate feedback into final designs
• Interest and knowledge of interior design, a plus
