Job Summary:

As a Graphic Designer at Medefy, you'll craft visually engaging and impactful materials that empower our marketing efforts and educate our audience. From sales collateral to social media posts and interactive tools, you'll play a key role in shaping Medefy's visual identity and brand experience.

Imagine taking complex healthcare topics and transforming them into clear, captivating designs that resonate with a diverse audience. You'll collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to create a variety of materials, including:

• Sales collateral: Design sales decks, one-pagers, and brochures that are informative, persuasive, and visually compelling.
• Social media graphics: Create eye-catching visuals that grab attention and drive engagement across various platforms.
• Interactive digital tools: Develop user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for interactive tools that educate and empower clients.
• Email newsletter templates: Design visually consistent and engaging templates for effective email marketing campaigns.
• Blog and article graphics: Craft impactful visuals that complement and enhance our written content.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
• Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
• Create materials for print, web, mobile, and video media including but not limited to websites, presentations, collateral, exhibit signage & materials, social media graphics, newsletters, and other marketing materials
• Seek and incorporate feedback from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately
• Manage and adhere to company processes regarding workflow, approvals, file archiving, and project management
• Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video materials
• Take stock of existing processes, identify flaws, and suggest solutions that improve design capabilities
• Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while meeting deadlines and client objectives
• Interact with clients in online and in-person meetings including gathering requirements, presenting concepts, and taking in feedback
• Works both independently and with other designers and other internal departments to brainstorm concepts, refine solutions, and deliver successful results
• Perform other duties as assigned

You must have at least the following:

• 3+ years of related experience, ideally in the healthcare or B2B industry
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and Acrobat, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace
• Ability to both work independently and collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with other creatives and internal teams
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to understand client objectives and direction, marry it with design best practices, and produce successful, creative deliverables
• Strong written and oral communication skills, able to successfully interact with peers, clients, and management
• Dependable, detail-oriented, strong work-ethic, with a drive to deliver high-quality work to internal and external clients
• Curious and compelled to learn new skills, explore industry trends, try new solutions, and embrace new technologies

It would be great if you have:

• Knowledge of WordPress content management system and/or HTML/CSS
• Design/marketing agency experience
• After Effects software/animation skills
• Relatively tech savvy (we are a SaaS company after all)
• 2+ years’ experience in any of the following areas: health insurance, employee benefits, insurance brokerage, HR, telemedicine, general healthcare

Supervisory Duties: No supervisory duties.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Occasionally move inside the office to access file cabinets, office machines, etc.
• Prolonged periods of being stationary at a desk and working on a computer
• Communicating with others to exchange information via typing
• Must have close-range clarity of vision with or without corrective lens
• Ability to simultaneously address multiple complex problems; Multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy, able to perform duties from multiple sources
• Interact appropriately with a variety of individuals including customers, clients, and vendors and under adverse circumstances
• Must maintain regular attendance and be punctual
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions
