Windstar Cruises, recognized as the World's Best Small Ship Cruise line, is seeking a Graphic Designer to become an integral part of our creative team, this new team member will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for both digital and print media. This role requires a dynamic individual with a keen eye for detail, the ability to handle multiple versions of digital exports, and fulfill trade ads efficiently. You will work closely with the creative team to produce high-quality design assets that align with our brand and meet the diverse needs of our marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities- Graphic Design:
- Create compelling and visually appealing designs for digital and print media, including social media graphics, email campaigns, and trade print ads.
- Assist in the development of creative concepts and collaborate with team members to bring ideas to fruition.
- Digital Export Management:
- Service multiple versions of digital exports, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various platforms and devices.
- Optimize digital assets for web and social media, considering factors such as resolution, file size, and format requirements.
- Print Ad Fulfillment:
- Design and produce trade print ads in accordance with specifications and guidelines provided by media partners and publications.
- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with team members, including senior designers, marketers, and project managers, to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Incorporate feedback into designs and iterate as necessary.
- Brand Consistency:
- Adhere to brand guidelines and contribute to maintaining a cohesive brand identity.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
- Communicate project status and proactively address any challenges that may arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Basic understanding of print production processes and requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished, error-free designs.
- Creative flair and a passion for design.
- Ability to adapt to feedback and a willingness to learn and grow.
