Job Title: Graphic Designer
Direct Report: VP of Marketing
Position: Graphic Designer
Job Summary: The primary role of the Graphic Designer is to execute a variety of design needs that help New Realm Brewing grow. This position is rooted in heavy collaboration, working with teams across our brewing and sales departments. The Graphic Designer’s role is one that requires creative problem solving, a strong understanding of the brand world and forethought to how our brand will continue to adapt and grow with current trends.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Complete graphic design projects, as assigned, including but not limited to packaging production, posters and promotional graphics, apparel, swag, signage, email marketing and social media content.
- Work within our project management platform to manage projects and keep a consistent workflow.
- Collaborates with marketing team members to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.
- Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.
- Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to VP of Marketing for review.
- Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, in Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- Five years in graphic design
- Proficient in Microsoft programs, G Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic; demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong judgment and professional maturity
- Professional interest in craft beer culture
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, in Marketing, emphasis in graphic design
Work Environment:
- Work in the office in either our Virginia Beach or Atlanta location.
- Occasional limited travel may be required
