Kaiva Tech, LLC is seeking a Graphics Designer in the Atlanta Metro Area.
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust
Workplace Type: The position is 100% remote but subject to change based on customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Graphics Designer will be responsible for supporting Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC). Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Help establish and deliver low to mid fidelity interface prototypes.
- Effectively present prototyped concepts in both ad hoc and formal presentations to diverse
audience ranging from executive leadership, business stakeholders, and business
partners/associates. - Perform competitive analysis and research for projects; research and analyze industry UX/UI
trends and competitor sites and strategies. - Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative
solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience. - Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design
roadblocks. - Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
- Develop graphics for web pages, newsletters and other client briefings.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 3+ years of web design experience as a key, hands-on interaction/visual designer of a UI/UX
team through the product development cycle of successfully launched web, mobile, and/or
software applications. - 3+ years of experience designing and prototyping responsive web, digital products or
applications. - Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience developing graphics for web pages and other client communication products.
- Proficient in Abode Creative Suite.
- Proven professional who can connect the dots between business needs, innovation and good
design. - Fluent in responsive web page design
- Strong web design thinking skills with the ability to prototype and iterate quickly are essential.
- Extensive understanding of best-practices in navigation, UI components and/or design guidelines.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
