Position Summary
The Market Analyst serves as a broker assistant that plays a key role in the success of the Ever.Ag brokerage services by providing customer service and support to brokers. Additionally, you will provide support to teammates, as well as ensuring that all documentation required for processing is accurate and complete.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and facilitate and execute customer futures, option, OTC, or spot orders.
- Have thorough understanding of trading technologies that Ever.Ag utilizes for order execution.
- Effectively communicate and report order status to customers.
- Communicate with broker team members order status of customers.
- Understand the various methods of derivative execution and utilize the best venue of execution for customer orders.
- Follow internal compliance policies.
- Audit and reconcile customer orders to clearing house statements to ensure quality control.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 2 years' experience in the agriculture industry
- Minimum 1-year work experience in an administrative or customer support role
- Excellent written and verbal communication and a collaborative mindset
- Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office, etc.
- Series 3 License required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
