Location: Rosslyn, VA (primarily remote)

Overall Assignment Description:
The candidate will support the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Health (ARPA-H) Office of Government Legislative Affairs by identifying and tracking HHS (NIH/BARDA/CDC/ASPR/ HRSA/OASH, etc.) OR non-HHS (NSF, DARPA, ARPA-E, ARPA-I, NIST, DOE, etc.) funded programs. Conduct crosswalks with ARPA-H programs and/or as new programs are launched to identify agency outreach targets. Identify key programs in relation to ARPA-H programs. Support development and execution of outreach and engagement plans in support of ARPA-H programs. Capture data into an Intergovernmental tracking system. Create and maintain a dashboard of HHS interagency engagements and programs. Draft reports, create presentations tailored to agency/divisions, support outreach and scheduling with agency contacts as required.
Required skills and Demonstrated Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree
· 4-6 years of Government Affairs/relations experience including policy, advocacy and stakeholder engagement with specific experience working with or in the federal government
· 4-6 years of experience in outreach and engagement with federal government staff and leadership
· 4-6 years of experience with contacts, management/tracking tools, creating dashboards, producing reports
· 2-3 years of experience with identifying government funding or grants opportunities
· 2-3 years in ARPA setting preferred
· Must be detail-oriented, diplomatic, and flexible to juggle various projects at once in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication and writing skills
· Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and related presentation and tracking software tools
Desired Experience:
· 2-3 years in ARPA setting
· Masters Degree
Salary: $120 - $135k
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
