As Global Sourcing Manager, you’ll bring new and develop long-term supplier relationships while optimizing btween's international supply chain as our company continues to grow. The focus will be girls sets, dresses, seperates and boys sets both knit and woven in the off-price market.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product team in managing overseas vendor relationships and negotiations.
- Research and source new overseas manufacturers.
- Lead the development of all new fabric, styles and categories.
- Work directly with outside vendors to oversee product development pipeline.
- Production planning and factory allocation.
- Work directly with factories via email/telephone a daily basis.
- Oversee approval process and deliveries
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience directly sourcing products from overseas factories.
- General knowledge of garment construction.
- Cost negotiating.
- Problem solving skills, technical spec knowledge.
- Ensure all garments are communicated to vendors accurately.
