LinkedIn is searching for a Project Manager to join our Global Strategic Sourcing Team! We're looking for an inquisitive, collaborative, analytical professional to lead large transformational projects across our Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS). We are seeking candidates that have sound judgement, a natural ability to drive results on challenging business problems, prioritize effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for project leadership, while driving and providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks & issues simultaneously across multiple teams. You will also conduct cross-functional discussions with varying leadership levels and embrace difficult conversations with ease.
Responsibilities:
Create and lead multiple, concurrent, key GSS projects and cross-functional Source-to-Pay teams, while leveraging project management best practices, including development of project charters, align on governance, timelines, resources, dependencies, and reporting requirements.
Drive collaborative cross functional meetings, draft clear recommendations & implementation plans, reporting and communications.
Rapidly identify, analyze, and address complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise communication to influence outcomes with cross functional teams. Swiftly problem solve, influence, and provide innovative solutions.
Manage a variety of tasks, projects, and timelines with a sense of urgency, ownership and within deadline. Routinely review and report key milestones with team members & leadership, troubleshoot roadblocks and delays autonomously.
Standardize key project documentation, success metrics, and reporting.
Maintain a rapid pace, move quickly, and enjoy leading multiple projects at once.
Consolidate suggested ideas from team members and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations.
Identify needs for new tools, continuous improvement opportunities, and ways to streamline processes.
Execute ad-hoc projects supporting Global Strategic Sourcing's transformational activities.
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
6+ years leveraging project management principals working with cross functional stakeholders, including tracking, and planning complex projects, data visualization or strategy development.
4+ years of Source to Pay experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Six Sigma and Project Management certification preferred: PMP, CAPM, APM, MPM, PPM, etc.
Deep understanding of best-in-class end-to-end Source to Pay processes and tools, Supplier Management, Supplier Programs, data governance, etc.
Demonstrates data driven decisiveness in resolving business related problems, conflicts, and identifying priorities.
Proven ability to develop, implement and manage programs effectively and maintain project timelines.
Experience in developing project strategies, including tool implementation, project management principles, dashboard development, and analysis.
Practical & effective change management skills. Certifications such as Prosci, CCMP or similar - a plus.
Communicates in a clear, concise, timely manner and operates effectively as a team player.
Ability to take ownership, self-motivate and deliver results in ambiguous environments across multiple teams in order to achieve common goals.
Personable and credible - ability to build productive working relationships both internally with our business partners and executive leadership globally.
Ability to work well under pressure, problem solves with milestone-based project deadlines and makes decisions in complex situations.

The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
