Job Summary/Purpose:
A key commercial role in the company, this position is responsible for leading the sales growth and development of strategic relationships and partnerships on a global scale. Candidate will work closely with the regional Presidents, Sales Directors, and selling teams to position and promote the Fluid Solutions products in order to generate sales growth. Position will include frequent customer interaction, price positioning and negotiation, sales team education and competitive analysis.
This is an entrepreneurial role which gives the position full responsibility to create more market penetration globally. The position is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in technical sales / business development in Oil & Gas and Energy projects.
Essential Job Functions:
- Successfully Identifying and developing client/business relationships in the U.S. within the Oil & Gas
- Establish professional relationships with decision makers and management in order to positively influence sales of FS products.
- Negotiating of commercial contracts.
- Direct strategic account management activities to drive account expansion and penetration, develop long term relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify and develop Key Account relationships for areas of special focus, including newly developed products and applications
- Provide technical and commercial support to sales team, customers and selling channels
- Work closely with the Marketing/Product Marketing function(s) to identify and assess new opportunities for existing products as well as opportunities for new product development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred but not a must
- 5 years instrument valve and fitting experience with at least 3 years in a Global Key Account management role
- Specific knowledge and experience with applications and purchasing practices in the global O&G market
- Ability to analyze data trends
