WoundDirect is a rapidly growing advanced Wound Care provider group revolutionizing the way patients receive Wound Care. We are bringing advanced Wound Care to our patient’s doorstep! No longer do patient’s with chronic wounds need to find transportation, wait for days or weeks to get into a clinic and spend hours commuting.
We are seeking MAs and LVNs certified/licensed in Texas for full-time and part-time positions who are interested in providing mobile care. This position requires you to use your car to drive to patient locations within a 100-mile radius of your city. Scheduling is very flexible and compensation is great!
This role combines Patient Care and facility relationship management, where a combination of the time is dedicated to providing conservative Wound Care to patients at different facilities and homes. The remaining time involves cultivating relationships with clients, gathering feedback, and training their staff to enhance patient referrals for advanced Wound Care. You will be collaborating with a respective territory manager to accomplish these responsibilities when visiting clients/referral sources.
Job Duties
- Provide hands on care to patients in a home setting under physician or provider orders.
- Takes, records, and reports patient vital signs, performs procedures of low complexity such as visual acuity, and other approved clinic specific testing.
- Documents completion of Patient Care tasks in medical records, and reinforces education provided by the physician or nurse seeking assistance from the nurse or physician as appropriate.
- Assists in care of patients by facilitating telemedicine visits while present with patient and physician or provider is remote.
- May perform a variety of administrative/clerical duties, scheduling patient appointments, pre-certifying procedures, answering patient phones, collecting data to forward to the nurse or provider as directed.
- Confirms appropriate patient consent and authorization forms are signed.
- Maintains excellent customer service and Patient Care.
- Maintains adequate stock of supplies as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

- Comfortable working in EMR system, eCW experience preferred
- Organized, dependable and professional
- At least 1 year of Wound Care experience
- Travel (Required)
- Valid drivers license
Experience and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Assistant or LVN certification or license
- 1 year experience Patient Care

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
