POSITION OVERVIEW
The Global Beit Midrash Program Coordinator works closely with the Rabbinic Head to develop and implement the GBM strategic project plan, which seeks to redefine how Jewish high school students around the world connect, learn and create their Jewish futures together. Alongside the Rabbinic Head, the GBM Program coordinator will foster an ongoing envisioning of this global Jewish community, enabling Jewish students to deepen Jewish identity and peoplehood, grow their learning and leadership, and build digital projects in the realms of Stories, Learning, Culture, and Social Action. This is an hourly-paid position working 10 months of the year (mid-August to mid-June), starting as early as April 2024. This role reports directly to the Rabbinic Head.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Year one: Develop global network of partnerships with at least five new global partners and two American Jewish day school partners (Grades 9-12)
- Manage existing and new partnerships.
- Consult with the Rabbinic Head to develop a three year GBM strategic project plan.
- Organize and refine existing website elements.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong desire to develop a global model for how Jewish high school students connect, teach and learn, and create with one another.
- Communicate and collaborate well with Jewish teenagers and school partners.
- Strong organizational, project planning, and tech skills.
- Programming or teaching experience within the Jewish world.
- Ability to work with existing WIX website.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
SALARY RANGE: $30 - 38.75 /hr. The Coordinator will work about 15 hours per week.
