Founded by 3 partners and longtime friends, the first Dog Haus opened in Pasadena, California in 2010. Dog Haus currently has 50+ locations nationwide with aggressive expansion plans in 2024.

Applicants should be experienced, results-driven restaurant managers who have strong knowledge of food, wine, craft beer/cocktails and industry trends. To meet sales goals you’ll by hiring and training competent staff, overseeing kitchen operations, motivating the team and gathering feedback from guests. As GM you will work with the corpate marketing team to attact patrons and grow business within the local community.

To be successful as a restaurant manager you must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as experience in a restaurant environment. A good restaurant manager is able to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.

Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:

· Supervise a team of employees; work to create a cohesive team who effectively communicate; create a hiring process for key staff that ensures qualified people are selected, trained and retained through top recruiting practices. This includes managing employees in various situations that deem rewarding or disciplinary action.

· Follow all appropriate health code and local jurisdiction food/alcohol handling requirements.

· Create a professional atmosphere that sustains top employees.

· Control operations by developing effective policies and schedules, creating high standards and working to make adjustments when appropriate.

· Streamline the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times.

· Analyze the restaurant budget, reduce expenses, review current pricing and adjust purchasing strategies if needed.

· Ensure an outstanding dining experience by regulating presentation, taste, service and atmosphere for all guests.

· Develop and implement marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.

· Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job responsibilities.

The ideal candidate should have:

· 2-4 years of experience in a similar role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
