Job Description
The General Manager oversees the financial performance, profit and loss responsibilities, and day-to-day operations of a business or business line. This leadership role includes strategic planning, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and distribution management. Accountable for achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and net income goals in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full P&L Responsibility: Accountable for overall profit and loss, making strategic projections to meet financial objectives.
- S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning): Develop and manage operating plans to exceed business objectives.
- Operations Management: Collaborate with teams to optimize production, launch new products, and enhance distribution.
- Pricing Strategies: Establish competitive pricing strategies for maximum operating income.
- Lean/CI: Drive continuous improvement for enhanced business performance.
- Community Relations: Strengthen the business's reputation within the community.
- Strategy and Culture: Implement overall business strategy and culture aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but strong background considered.
- 12+ years in food/beverage production, with a focus on dairy.
- Strong P&L management with a proven track record.
- 4+ years of people management, lean/CI experience.
- Strong financial acumen and business analytics proficiency.
- Strategic thinking, effective decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Relationship-building and effective communication at various levels.
- Political sensitivity and adaptability in a changing environment.
- Travel: 25% - 50% (up to 2 weeks per month).

- $200-230k annual salary
