Salary***Job Summary: The General Manager of the 3PL Distribution Center is responsible for the overall management, performance, and strategic direction of the Distribution Center. They must ensure. The timely and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, meeting client requirements and industry standards. The 3PL General Manager will also have P& L responsibility that includes onboarding new customers. ***
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Oversight:
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center, including inbound, outbound, and inventory management.
- Implement and enforce efficient operating procedures to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
* Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Understand client needs and expectations and work to exceed them.
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on inventory, order status, and performance metrics.
- Stay in tune with the regional 3PL market and help ensure a steady flow of new 3PLcustomers.
* Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
- Set performance goals and provide coaching and feedback to staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
* Inventory Management:
- Implement and oversee inventory control processes to minimize shrinkage and ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Coordinate regular cycle counts and audits.

- Develop and manage the Distribution Center' s budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures.
* Performance Metrics:
- Establish and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure operational
efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze data and reports to make informed decisions and improvements.
* Technology and Systems:
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to enhance
operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
* Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
* Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Qualifications:
- Bachelor& degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master; preferred).
- Proven experience in 3PL Distribution Center management, with a track record of successful leadership.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
- Financial acumen for budgeting and cost management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
