Knapheide Truck Equipment Center is looking to hire a skilled General Managerto oversee and manage all activities related to the operation of our Charleston, SC facility.

DAY-TO-DAY AS A SITE MANAGER
This position is responsible for P&L, delivery of quality products on time and at reasonable lead times for the KTEC location. Also responsible for developing the workforce, following TKMC, Fleet and Truck Pool policies and practices, sales development for the KTEC location market, implementing a 6S philosophy and culture and compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory requirements. Collaboration and cooperation with Knapheide Manufacturing and KTEC Personnel will be important to future success.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related area; MBA or Master's degree a plus.
- 7+ years experience in management or leadership of people and/or processes
- 7+ years of manufacturing or production experience
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing effective production and distribution is preferred
- Previous project management experience preferred
