Position Description:

The consultant is responsible for technical analysis, design, development,

testing and documenting for objects in SAP for this global implementation.

The consultant will be involved in development, maintenance, enhancement

work of technical objects in BW, BPC and Analysis for Office. The role needs

the consultant to participate in on-call support and also do international

travel if required.

Consultant should have minimum of 6 to 8 years development experience in BW

& BPC with working knowledge of FICO & COPA. AO (Ana

lysis for Office) knowledge highly desirable.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing, developing and implementing budgeting and

planning models using SAP BW, HANA and BPC data sources.

Interpret business requirements into system solutions to satisfy the

business needs and improve the user experience.

Develops and enhance SAP BW objects such as infocubes, dso's, masterdata,

transformations, extractors.

Comprehensive testing of developed objects in development and QA

environments, including regression testing before any changes are released

to the Production environment to minimize bugs.

Work with Business, SMEs, Project team members and executives to gather the

functional requirements, design, deliver and document technical solutions.

Build programs to generate reports utilizing AO(Analysis for Office) and

design and test the data objects using Query Designer and Analyzer.

Provide and own SAP application development support in assigned areas.

Analyze, design, code and test break/fix requests

Participate in requirements gathering and solution designing sessions.

Continuously develop industry knowledge and associated skills.

Provide estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks.

Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the

application.

Provide knowledge to guide team members in the realization of the design and

interact deeply with the Global implementation team

Define and document processes and procedures (Technical and non-technical)

Support and assist the change management and communication processes

Responsible for performance tuning of the programs utilizing best practices

Hands on participation in post-go live support including resolution of snags

Able to travel internationally if required.

Required Skills:

BW system management and integration with HANA and BPC

Integration experience, problem identification  and resolution

Team player and good attitude

Functional Knowledge:

Functional knowledge in FICO,  COPA, Planning

Experience Needed:

8 - 10 years in BPC is required

8 - 10 years of advance ABAP for BW

Working with C level executives

Good communication - verbal and written

Educational Background Required:

General certificate of education

BPC certification would be desirable
