We are a friendly and professional dental office and our goal is to provide our patients the best experience possible, while creating a fun, supportive and engaging work environment for our dental team. Primary functions:
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Prepare treatments rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures
- Take dental X-rays
- Ensure patients’ questions are answered thoroughly before they leave
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Provide oral hygiene and post operative instructions as prescribed by doctor.
- Record treatment information in patient chart daily and maintain accurate patient records.
- Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety and OSHA guidelines
- Perform basic computer functions.
- Review daily schedule to set up operators and instruments.
- Assist in front office procedures if time allows or need is determined.
Experience:
- no experience required
Education:
- High School or equivalent
Qualifications:
- Must have X-ray certification
- Dental Assistant experience preferred but not required
- Communication Proficiency.
- Strong customer service skills
- Honest and reliable
- Good listener and willingness to learn
- Subject to background screening.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
