Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, maintaining infection control protocols, and ensuring accurate medical documentation. Responsibilities and Expections

- Must have reliable transportation, we work all around the Hampton Roads Area

- Chairside assisting, four handed dentistry

- Set up and break down pop-up dental clinic

- Clean and prepare operating area between patients

- Use dental software, we allow a training period to learn Curve Dental

- Intake new patients, perform simple, online insurance verification

- Take and develop radiographs with handheld device

- Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive the company sprinter van

- Maintain and record inventory of supplies

- Sterilize instruments and restock supplies at central office

- Perform and log weekly equipment maintenance

- Must be available Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

- 1 year experience as Dental Assistant preferred

- Two professional recommendations

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- Current certification in dental assisting (CDA) preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in dental coding and documentation
- X-ray certification
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
