Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The Logistic Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the delivery department within both our Retail and Long Term Care Pharmacy. This role requires a strategic thinker, a person that advances with technology and the delivery software platforms, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Duties:
- Coordinate and monitor prescription drop off and pick-ups

-Ensure timely delivery of all medications on assigned delivery assignments

-Daily, Weekly, Monthly Route Review to increase productivity and efficiency

-Daily Route Configuration and Scheduling
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Retail Pharmacy Technicians, LTC Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacists, and leadership to ensure efficient logistics processes
- Manage supplies, equipment, vehicle keys, log books, and wireless devices to minimize unnecessary cost to the company
- Develop and implement strategies for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
- Create and maintain documentation related to logistics activities, such as delivery schedules, delivery reports, and missed deliveries.
- Lead, manage and hold direct reports accountable for daily activities
- Monitor demand planning activities to ensure accurate forecasting for weekend, end of month, or inclement weather

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of delivery logistics and route optimization
- Proficiency in using logistics software systems
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
