Purchasing Coordinator
The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the company has the necessary supplies, materials, and equipment to effectively operate. They will coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and personnel within the company to ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Primary Duties
- Sourcing material suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality, and logistical
expenses
- Collaborating with PMs and team leads to ensure that material will fulfill all field needs
- Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
- Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the
integrity and quality of delivered goods and services
- Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses
- Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Create PO’s and process material in system
- Follow up to insure all good purchased have been received in field
Position Requirements
- Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and
Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process
contracts
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and understanding of construction materials

Education: High school degree or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business administration,
management, finance, or related field preferred
Experience: Two years’ previous experience as Purchasing Coordinator or related position preferred but not required.
Licenses, Certifications or Registrations: Employee must have valid driver’s license if operating a company vehicle or their own vehicle for work purposes.
