Full Time In-Office Loan Processor & Underwriter

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with loan origination team and brokers to create a positive customer experience.
• Issue loan commitments, loan application forms and disclosures, loan documents, and other supporting documentation for completion and signature.
• Initiate and schedule Zoom interviews with borrowers.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with third party affiliates, including title, escrow, insurance, and appraisers.
• Manage ownership of data collections and pipeline tracking.
• Evaluate accuracy of income and property values.
• Review preliminary title report to obtain clear title before closing.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of mortgage lending experience
• Knowledge and understanding of:
• Hard money lending
• Loan documents
• Credit documents
• Insurance documents (hazard, flood)
• Closing and legal documents (HUD-1, promissory note, deed of trust, assignment)
• Compliance, underwriting, origination, or processing roles.
• Title and escrow documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong detail orientation and highly organized.
• Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
• Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Word, and Excel.
• Effective communication skills including verbal & written.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
• Experience working with mortgage loan brokers and mortgage industry software systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
