We are looking for an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team of driven, customer-focused professionals that will analyze daily financial activities and provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives. You must be flexible, able to work with the team or independently, be detail oriented, display high customer service skills, and be organized.
Responsibilities include:
· Payroll
· Cash Flow forecast
· Receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices daily
· Post credit card charges
· Reconcile statements from vendors monthly
· Adjusting journal entries
· Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
· Advise Leadership on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should consider
· Maintain QuickBooks daily for the organization.
· Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
· Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
· Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
· Additional office assignments and tasks as deemed necessary
Required Skills:
· Attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, analyzing information, vendor relationships, PC proficiency, data entry skills, general math skills
· Have reliable transportation to and from our office
· Able to multitask, prioritize, and effectively communicate with co-workers, trade partners and clients
· Proficient user of finance software
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
· A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
· Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
:
· 2-3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience
· Experience with QuickBooks Online
· Experience using Microsoft Excel to prepare spreadsheets, including creating formulas, sorting data, preparing reports.
· Excellent communication skills: ability to effectively communicate information in a clear and understandable manner, both verbally and in writing
· Experience in the Construction Industry for bookkeeping
· BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
· Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
or associate degree including additional years of job experience
