Bookkeeper/Accounts Receivable

Cooling Unlimited, Inc. is a Family-Owned Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing Company that has been growing for over 38 years. We are looking to add a highly motivated, flexible, self-starting accounts receivable/payroll clerk to our office team.

Located in Reading, MA, we are seeking an accounts receivable/payroll clerk for our fast-growing service company.

This is a key role within our organization, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

Job Duties:

• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is current, credits and collections are correctly applied
• Process and record customer payments
• Manage and reconcile credit card deposits
• Prepare and process bank deposits
• Prepare customer invoices as needed
• Create reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested
• Track and process timecards daily for payroll
• Create monthly billing statements and collections on past due accounts
• Perform other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field
• High School Diploma or College Degree
• Advance knowledge of Quickbooks Enterprise is required
• Knowledge of Servicetitan software not required but would be a plus
• Accurate data entry skills and great attention to detail
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in Multi-tasking
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
