Full Charge Bookkeeper

FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

Hiring for a client -

Detail oriented person responsible for all day to day bookkeeping and office administrative duties for a Plumbing and Heating business located in New Haven, CT. Proficiency with QuickBooks is a must.

Reports directly to the owner.

• Cash flow reporting
• A/R and A/P
• Employee relations
• Payroll - submit via ADP
• Bank deposits, bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare and submit state sales tax
• Maintain business insurances and annual COI's
• Work closely with Accountant and accounting support
• Other accounting or administrative duties as needed

Desired Experience:

• 8 years + Bookkeeping experience
• Construction/trade experience preferred
• Strong proficiency QuickBooks Desktop
• Comfortable in small office business environment
• Computer proficient
