Full Charge Bookkeeper

JMT Staffing Solutions is looking to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper for one of our Chicopee-based clients on a temporary to hire or direct hire basis. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will support two small business with their day to day accounting needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to bank reconciliation, debits and credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for review by management.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (homegrown system)

Skills:
- Proficient in bank reconciliation, debits and credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Experience working with accounting software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external auditors.

The schedule can be somewhat flexible depending on what the best candidate is looking for. Likely 20-40 hours per week.
