Accredited by The Joint Commission, Hudson Behavioral Health has been providing Behavioral Health Treatment in Salisbury, Maryland since 1980. Our services include Mental Health Therapy, Substance Use Medically Monitored Intensive Inpatient Rehabilitation, Partial Hospitalization, Clinically Managed Low Intensity Treatment Houses, Intensive Outpatient, and more.

We are looking for talented Mental Health Therapists to join our growing organization. As a Therapist with Hudson Behavioral Health, your primary tasks and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Conducts intake interviews, psychosocial and mental status evaluations for psychiatric triage and care.
2. Develops an individualized plan of care for each client in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
3. Provides individual therapy, group therapy, family sessions, utilization review and case management functions, as needed.
4. Monitors clients' responses to treatment and revises the plan of care.
5. Collaborates with the Psychiatrist, Clinical Director, SUD Counselors, referral sources and community agencies.
6. Maintains patient confidentiality.
7. Maintains client records in accordance with policies established by Behavioral Health Services, COMAR, Medicaid, and Hudson Behavioral Health.
8. Assists patients with discharge planning and referrals for additional physical, substance abuse, and/or Mental Health treatment.
9. Provides documentation and regular communication with accounting department to ensure timely billing for all services rendered.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Possession of a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or other discipline which allows individual to practice as a minimum of a Master's Level Licensed Mental Health Profession. Possession of a Maryland state license to provide MH counseling/therapy including LMSW, LCPC, or LCSW-C .
Experience:
Must meet the qualifications indicated above, a minimum of two years of experience in the field of addictions counseling and/or Mental Health counseling.
