HOLISTIC MENTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS

Your job responsibilities will include:

1. Assessment and Diagnosis: Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' Mental Health concerns, exploring their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. You will use diagnostic tools to identify Mental Health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.

2. Therapy and Treatment: Providing individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy sessions that integrate traditional therapeutic techniques with holistic approaches such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness, energy psychology, nutrition, and exercise. You will help clients explore and resolve deep-seated emotional concerns, traumas, relationship issues, and personal development goals.

3. Holistic Interventions: Incorporating alternative therapies such as art therapy (i.e. healing arts), music therapy, aromatherapy, acupuncture, energy healing, herbal remedies, nature therapy and other complementary modalities as part of the treatment plan. The aim is to address the whole person – mind, body, and spirit, and promote the discovery/emergence of the authentic-self.

4. Lifestyle Modification Coaching: Assisting clients in making positive lifestyle changes such as adopting healthy eating habits, improving sleep patterns, managing stress, and developing self-care/wellness routines and much more. You will educate clients on the interconnectedness between their Mental Health and physical well-being.

5. Collaborative Approach: Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, such as psychologists, psychiatrists, nutritionists, physical therapists, and other providers. Collaboration ensures a comprehensive and integrated approach to clients' Mental Health and wellness needs.

6. Advocacy and Education: Raising awareness about Holistic Mental Health and wellness through community workshops, seminars, and blogs. You will educate clients on self-empowerment, promoting resilience, and maintaining a balanced life.

7. Ethical Conduct: Adhering to professional ethics and maintaining client confidentiality. You are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of your clients by providing ethical and competent care.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

LEVEL I SUPERVISOR

As a supervisor therapist for interns and lower-level licensed clinicians, your primary role is to provide clinical guidance, support, and oversight to these clinicians as they develop their professional skills and enhance their clinical practice. You will serve as a mentor, educator, and consultant to help ensure quality client care and professional growth for the therapists under your supervision.

Your job responsibilities will include:

You will encourage therapists to stay updated on evidence-based practices, research, and current trends in the field.

3. 5. Relationship Building: Foster a supportive and collaborative relationship with interns and lower-level licensed clinicians, creating a safe and open space for them to express concerns, seek guidance, and share successes and challenges. You will build a strong foundation of trust, respect, and professionalism, promoting a positive and growth-oriented supervisory experience.

6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential records of supervision sessions, including notes and evaluations, in compliance with legal and professional requirements. You will also provide periodic reports on interns' progress and competency to relevant institutions, such as internship program directors and/or supervisors.
