Job Title:Product Marketing Manager
Location: Remote; need to work PST hours
Duration: 18 Months

Summary:
The main function of this Product Marketing Manager role is to research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and manage an organized roadmap for product feature launches
- Collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, field sellers, and other marketers.
- Provide editorial oversight and direction on product feature and solution content creation to support 1P and 3P marketing moments.
- Identify internal and external content deliverables for product features such as bundle pitch decks, FAQs, and other ad hoc marketing deliverables identified by Microsoft.
- Manage content creation and delivery processes of assets
- Develop crisp, concise messaging and ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
- Write and edit digital promotion copy for web, social and other digital assets
- Create external facing assets to amplify product preference and awareness.
- Provide any necessary reporting on social and lead generation campaigns.
- Manage content publication to external customer and internal field sites.
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.

• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team – The team focuses on both inbound Product Marketing – which includes road mapping, capabilities, competitive analysis, objective handling, as well as outbound marketing - what does product do, how do teams sell the product, creating blog posts and social posts, thought leadership content like Webinars, YouTube live, etc.
• Key projects – This role is in charge of creating internal and external facing marketing materials for Microsoft Viva. They will attend internal events and virtual events, create Product Marketing roadmap for January-June 2024, use analytics to determine how products are doing and how their marketing campaigns are doing, and support the Go to Market process and playbook.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm - Lots of cross functional meetings with various internal teams including engineering, sales, creating assets and manage creation of assets. This role will work with external partners as well.
• Strategic planning – able to plan ahead through June and create campaigns
• Proactive support – has previous experience leading initiatives and spearheading programs
Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required – 10+ years of Product Marketing experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Marketing Content Creation – 10+ Years of experience
2. Cross Functional Meetings, with both Internal teams and External partners – 10+ Years of experience
3. Marketing Data Analysis/Tracking – able to convert and improve metrics – 10+ Years of experience
