Texas Vision has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Front Desk Specialist to join our Ophthalmology practice in our Cedar Park location!
This is a vital position to our practice as it serves as the first and last touchpoint for all our patients. Because of this, we are looking for someone with outstanding customer service skills and who enjoys putting smiles on people’s faces. Furthermore, this position must represent the practice with a positive attitude and work closely with other departments of Texas Vision.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Greeting patients, along with checking them in and out.
- Registering patients in EMR software
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Keep the waiting area clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Front Office or Hospitality experience (Preferred)
- Previous Billing experience, including collecting co-pays and inputting insurance info into charts. (Preferred)
- Exceptional organizational skills and time management
Job Type:
- Full time; May not always be 40hrs/week due to office schedule.
Location:
- Cedar Park, TX
Pay:
- $18.00 - 19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
