Front Office Receptionist/Scheduler

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our medical office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support and possess knowledge of medical terminology.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update medical records
- Verify insurance coverage and process payments
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate patient referrals
- Provide administrative support to healthcare providers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or dental office is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is required
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Epic or Eaglesoft, is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
