Responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients to the practice
- Answering the phone, assisting with patient questions
- Taking copayments and helping patients with their invoices
- Calling patients to schedule their re-care
- Calling insurance companies to verify coverage.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Proficient in Dentrix or similar dental software
- Familiarity with medical coding and insurance billing procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
