Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments using Dental Office software systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks)
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Maintain patient records and update medical information as necessary
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a Dental Office or similar medical setting preferred
- Familiarity with Dental Office software systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks) is a plus
- Knowledge of medical scheduling and patient service practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff members
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity
