The School of Continuing Education and Workforce Development is an exciting and entrepreneurial office within the College that offers a wide variety of non-credit classes, courses, seminars, and training sessions for the community. Position Summary/Job Description
This position is an exciting opportunity for current diesel professionals and retirees to apply their skills and experience in educating the next generation of Diesel Mechanics. Effective presentation skills and expertise in problem-solving approaches are essential in building rapport with students and promoting learning. The Diesel Mechanic Instructor is responsible for classroom and lab instruction, and providing quality instruction for a diverse student population. In addition to instructional duties, the Instructor will prepare course outlines and objectives, evaluate courses offered, and advise students. Part-time staff is authorized to work up to 24 hours a week.
