Full-time: M-F 8am-5pm
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00/hr.

We are currently looking for experienced, compassionate, and dynamic team players to join our growing practice. This position is integral to our practice and requires working closely with patients, physicians and other staff.
We are a growing clinic and as a result we are looking for someone with flexibility, who can assist in a variety of administrative duties, see front desk role below, while learning the financial counseling and billing portion of the practice.
Front Desk: Key Responsibilities
- Communicates with patients in a friendly tone of voice (in person & by phone) and addresses all clinic inquiries
- Coordinates and schedules patient appointments to ensure providers' schedules are maximized
- Understands billing policies, collects copays/patient balances, and regularly updates patients' insurance cards
- Updates and maintains patient registration records
- Assists with monitoring and maintaining office supplies
- Cleans front desk/reception area
- Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA
- Provides general clerical and administrative support to all departments within the clinic
- Other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Self motivated and a team player
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong Computer Proficiency
- Current professional experience with Microsoft Excel (Required)
- Basic understanding of insurance authorization processes (preferred)
- Financial/Billing experience (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish (Highly preferred)
At least 2-3 years of medical office and health insurance experience required.
