The ideal candidate is a great team player, works well without supervision, has a minimum of 2 years of dental experience, is proficient in scheduling to goal, and is well-versed with dental insurance and financing options. Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies
- Assist in supervising and coordinating office activities and operations
- Manage and maintain schedules, including calendar management and appointment scheduling
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Oversee medical office management tasks, such as patient scheduling and insurance verification
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure proper documentation
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate office maintenance and repairs
- Assist in event planning and coordination
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer software, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of payroll processes is a plus
