Front Office Assistant

Job description

We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, committed and outgoing individual who excels at multitasking to join our team. We are a rapidly growing, privately owned behavioral health office specializing in therapy and psychiatry. The ideal candidate will be professional and detail oriented with a strong background in customer service, insurance verification and scheduling. A background in ICANotes EHR, Availity and other insurance portals is encouraged but not required.

Ability to communicate in a professional manner with staff and patients via phone, email and messenger is a must!

Job Duties:

• Handling all incoming calls and correspondence appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Data entry, obtaining vitals, communication with providers
• Scheduling appointments, creating patient charts
• Taking payments, verifying insurance and completing records requests
• Responding to patient, provider and referral inquiries coming in via fax, email and phone appropriately and in a timely manner
