Position Overview:

Part time Front Desk receptionist

a.dore aesthetics & medspa is looking to add a Front Desk receptionist to our team!

a.dore aesthetics & medspa, a premier medical aesthetics practice and spa, opened May 2019 and is continuing to grow. a.dore medspa offers a team of highly skilled nurses, nurse practitioners and estheticians with a combined 60 years of aesthetic nursing, caring leadership, ongoing education, and opportunities to expand your skills. The company was founded on the belief the clients and employee experience should be at the forefront of the practice.

Some evenings and Saturdays will be required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1.High school diploma.

2.Two years of experience in a similar capacity involving direct communication with the public, preferably in a medical or aesthetic medspa setting.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1.Appropriate telephone etiquette and communication skills.

2.Substantial knowledge of general aesthetic medical office procedures and terminology.

3.Strong computer and organizational skills, ability to work in other programs and quickly adapt to new software.

4.Ability to work as a team member.

5.Well-organized with attention to detail.

6.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

7.Treats patients and co-workers with respect.

8.Empathetic with patient’s needs and concerns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Patient check-in:

· Prepares new patient charts and pulls charts for established patients.

· Greets patients warmly.

· Obtains patient signatures on appropriate forms.

· Collects payments, and prints receipts.

· Files charts and paperwork as needed.

2.Answers telephone, returns text messages, and takes accurate messages.

3.Acts as liaison between waiting patients and aesthetician and nurse.

4.Prepares and maintains current and up to date patient information.

5. Conducts daily checks on skin care inventory and restocks as necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
