Front Desk Receptionist

Receptionist position available for Stony Brook Physical Therapy office.

We are a small, privately owned physical therapy office seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. Responsibilities:

-Greet and welcome patients and clients in a professional and friendly manner

-Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person

-Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

-Collect and record copayments

-Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry

-Maintain a clean and organized reception area

-Assist with general upkeep of facility and cleaning for protocol

-Provide positive, professional environment for staff and clientele

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to Relocate:

• Stony Brook, NY 11790: Relocate before starting work (Required)
