Front Desk Receptionist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our Front Desk.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendar
- Check-in patients and verify their personal and insurance information
- Collect payments and issue receipts
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and transcribing documents
- Requests referrals from primary care offices

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with EMR scheduling systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
