Job Description: Front Desk

The Providence Living culture is rooted in respect and dignity. As a Providence Living Associate, you are entrusted with the most rewarding job and responsibility of caring for and about our residents, their families and coworkers. As the Front Desk Team Member, you will be responsible for creating a pleasant first experience, greeting visitors in a polished, professional, discrete manner.

Duties:

• Create a positive first impression with every customer interaction whether in person or over the telephone.
• Present a professional image by following established dress code requirements, personal hygiene standards and pleasant interactions.
• Greet customers, whether in person or on the telephone, with a smile and a genuine interest to provide assistance. Answer telephone in a friendly, professional, caring and timely manner using appropriate telephone etiquette, as established by the company, and with a focus on creating a positive, memorable customer experience.
• Accurately route incoming calls to appropriate departments, colleagues or resident. Greet, direct and answer questions for visitors, vendors and residents in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner.
• Maintain a sign in/sign out log at the Front Desk for all residents leaving and/or returning to the community, and the visitor log for all guests and vendors.
• Clerical duties as assigned.
• Record maintenance requests from residents and file work order forms.
• Track RSVP for various marketing functions. Create flyers/announcements for community functions.
• Availability to work weekends
• Must practice and promote Providence Policies, Mission Statement, Core Values, and Founding Principles.
• Ability to pass a background screening (level 2) Must be 18 years or older

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Willing to work evenings and weekends
• Six months prior experience in a senior living environment preferred.
• Ability to lead by example exhibiting our core values through servant leadership.
• Honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality, and the rights and privacy of others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and general public.
• Must practice and promote Providence Policies, Mission Statement, Core Values, and Founding Principles.
• Must be 18 years of older.
• Ability to comply with Providence Living grooming standards as stated in the employee handbook, including, but not limited to body piercings and tattoos.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Check as required by state regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Weekends only

Experience:

• Administrative/Reception: 1 year (Required)
