At TouchUps Salon, the Guest Service Experts are not just receptionists. Our Front Desk staff is what keeps our salon running day-in and day-out!
As a apart of the Guest Service Expert team, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering phones
- Booking, rescheduling, and cancelling guest appointments.
- Checking in and checking out guests at the Front Desk.
- Carrying out cash and credit card transactions.
- Posting on TouchUps Salon's social media. (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest.)
- Replying to emails and messages in a timely fashion.
- Assisting stylists with product and service sales.
- Basic cleaning duties.
- Assisting with salon technology maintenance
Apart from these responsibilities, the mission of the Front Desk staff is to support and grow the salon business and the business of our stylists by offering opportunities to our guests. Each Guest Service Expert should strive to be an expert in the products we sell, the services we provide, and guest care! It is expected that our Guest Service Experts will provide kind, courteous, and efficient customer service to every guest, 24/7.
When you begin training for your Guest Service Expert position, not only will you learn to effectively carry out the responsibilities listed above, but you'll learn new ways to express your creativity! Using WordPress, our management team will walk you through navigating the program and creating content for our company website. Prior knowledge of WordPress is not required. A passion for fashion is a huge plus!
