We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, the Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with EMR and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information in the electronic medical records system
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk area
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
- Familiarity with office equipment such as phone systems, printers, and scanners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
