Front Desk Receptionist
This is a great position for retired people, students, stay at home moms or people who would like to work couple hours a week. It is a Front desk clerk at the tennis center facility at Beaver Park located at 500 Fisher Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508.
SHIFTS:
MONDAY- FRIDAY 7:45AM-12PM (NOON)
*18-25hrs hours a week total
*Tennis Racket stringing is required to learn in addition to the Front desk clerk duties! It is an additional income.
*Training starts immediately
Front Desk Representatives are one of the most important roles in improving customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Often times they are the first contact with the customers, and are responsible for making a good impression and improving reputation.
Some of their duties include answering customer questions, offering customer support, guiding and advising customers, keeping the pro shop and outside clean and representative, following the agendas and scripts.
· Keep pro shop, outside deck and tennis courts clean, tidy and supplied with all the necessary supplies
· Greet, communicate with and welcome guests
· Answer all the customers' questions and address their complaints
· Knowledge of all offered programs and events to inform all customers
· Answer all incoming calls, redirect them when needed, answer voicemails
· Prepare and manage outgoing mail
· Check, sort and forward emails
· Monitor pro shop supplies
· Monitor and update records and files
· Hands on experience with office machines (PC, printer etc.)
· Great knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
· Team player
· Great interpersonal and communication skills, customer-oriented mindset
· Work the cash register ( starting and closing cash register, accepting payments)
Manage court bookings

Salary: $10.00 per hour, additional income for stringing tennis rackets

Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Provide information to callers and visitors regarding company services and policies
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- Assist with data entry and maintaining records
- Maintain a clean and organized Front desk area, pro shop
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role not needed but it is a plus
- Proficient in phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Knowledge of office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines
- Familiarity with calendar management and scheduling software
- Experience with data entry and basic computer skills
