Front Desk Receptionist And Salesperson

We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to add to our Birch Body Care Team!

Birch is a busy Boutique Spa in the heart of Uptown Kingston. We opened in 2012 and have been growing, expanding and evolving since then. We are down to earth, inclusive, empathetic, tight knit, wellness oriented and here to serve our community. We are usually open from 10-7 and our desk shifts are sometimes a full day or 1/2 day. This is a part-time position.

Front Desk responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering the phone, returning calls, scheduling appointments for multiple rooms, checking in customers, taking payments, filing, some social media posting, merchandising and light cleaning, facilitate communication between service providers and support staff, skincare and boutique sales.

Our ideal candidate has interest in massage, skincare and at least 1 year of experience plus scheduling appointments and answering phones in a medical or spa environment. You must be able to multi-task while staying calm, cool and collected. The ability to quickly learn new software and be comfortable with digital technology is a must. *You must be comfortable working independently and be self-motivated.* Our ideal candidate is a fantastic communicator, people person, friendly, positive, upbeat, has the ability to interact with a wide variety of people, is punctual, responsible, detail oriented and has reliable transportation, even in the winter. Must have the ability to problem solve and have critical thinking skills. Must have some weekend availability.
